My story

Beautiful Leela recently had an opportunity to participate in a shelter skip day. How did it go? Seems like everyone enjoyed the day...`Leela is so much fun! She did really well in the car and loved looking out the window. She had a great time at the arboretum—we called her a pollinator because she had to sniff every flower and plant she saw. She even got a little pollen on her nose! She doesn’t really walk in a straight line since she gets distracted and has to go investigate the new smells, but she didn’t pull at all! A few people and kids came up to pet her and she was super calm and sweet with them. She completely ignored other dogs, birds, and squirrels. She did great at Union Market, though she did want some of our food (though it wasn’t too hard to keep her distracted). She’s loves giving kisses and leaning on you or sitting in your lap.
