My story

Meet Cain! This sweet, laid-back guy found his way to our shelter after being abandoned with his buddies, Chester (A049080) and Casper (A049082). He’s an easygoing guy who loves to explore the play yard at his own pace, sniffing around and enjoying his time outdoors.Cain is calm on the leash, never pulling and always happy to stroll at a relaxed pace. He’s not super interested in toys, but he does enjoy a good treat and takes them gently, showing his polite nature. While he doesn’t know any tricks just yet, when it’s time to leave the play yard, he’ll sit automatically to have the leash put on him like he’s had some training before!He has a low energy level and is content to either be pet or entertain himself. He’s also got a little mark around his neck, likely from wearing a collar for a long time, which suggests he may have been someone’s companion in the past. Cain seems to be potty trained, making him an even easier companion to bring into your home.
