My story

MEET KENAI: Your New Adventure Buddy / Couch Potato Extraordinaire Looking for a dog who’s the perfect mix of “let’s go hiking!” and “let’s not get off the couch ever again”? Meet Kenai, a 5-year-old husky mix with the heart of a teddy bear and the zoomies of a caffeinated reindeer. Kenai was adopted as a puppy from a Texas rescue to be a college companion—he nailed it. But after graduation, life got busy, travel-heavy, and full of adulting. Now Kenai is crashing with his adopter’s parents, who adore him but just can’t give him the time and adventures he craves. &#226&#156&#133 Housebroken &#226&#156&#133 Not destructive &#226&#156&#133 Walks like a gentleman &#226&#156&#133 Loves toys and zooming in wild figure 8s around the living room during play time &#226&#156&#133 Down to hike a trail or snooze on the couch with a good chew Oh, and did we mention he’s great with people, kids, dogs, and cats? Kenai is truly the full package. He’s neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on all his shots—just missing one thing: YOU. So if your heart (and couch) have a husky-shaped hole in them please fill out an adoption application. Kenai’s bags are packed and his tail is wagging. Personality: friendly, playful, smart Good with: people, dogs, and cats Training: housetrained, leash trained, knows 'sit' and 'shake' and has pretty good recall Estimated date of birth: 3/19/2020 Weight: 65 pounds Medical: up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped Location: Kenai is currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next transport.  &#226&#128&#139For more videos of Kenai, please check out his YouTube playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmB5-2QLmiJPQLe4kXpTBwna4Ravk43kb To apply to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/210286667669167 We always need fosters, please join us!  https://form.jotform.com/210257395409155 100% of all money received from adoption fees and donations goes directly back to support saving other dogs and cats in need.  FFLAR is a 501c(3) non-profit.   Please consider donating.  We appreciate your support!
