My story

At just a year old, Roo didn't have the best start in life. She is an absolute beauty now! She was found as a stray in the streets of Toledo, was emaciated, missing hair and in pretty rough shape. With a lot of love and care from her foster family, she is back to a majestic, healthy dog. Roo would love another dog in the home. She would be a great family dog!! She just needs to know she's safe and loved. She will flourish in pretty much any home as she gets along with other dogs, children and really pays no mind to the cat in the home. An endearing feature of hers, she got her name "Roo" as she doesn't really "bark". She makes a howling sound similar to the sound of her name. She loves playing with toys, bones and the other dogs in her foster home. She is a master at playing "fetch"! She is very social and loves meeting new people. Roo is crate trained and potty trained. She would love a fence - standard is fine and doesn't climb them, just to keep her safe. Roo has learned a myriad of commands while at her foster home. She knows, sit, down, come, off and no... quite an impressive list! She pretty much is the entire package!
