My story

Pawl is a very good boy who has become a lshelter ambassador, regularly spending time in our “Dog of the Day” yard and showing off his incredible personality! Dog of the Day is a pretty special opportunity, and Pawl has hit it outta the park every time! Here’s what some of his volunteer friends and biggest advocates have said:“Pawl was an outstanding representative of Dog of the Day and had excellent manners. He was obviously loved and trained by someone in his life before the shelter. He so deserves to be loved like that again. Please take a chance on sweet Pawl. You`ll be so glad you did.”“Pawl was Dog of the Day again, and again he was wonderful! He LOVES to play ball and showed off his drop, backup, and leave it skills with many guests. He is super athletic and can catch the ball mid-air. Pawl also has a snuggly gentle side when he`s finished playing ball. He loves the misting fans and sticks his face right in them to catch water in his mouth. I suspect he’d love a pool. Pawl is a wonderful dog who would make a wonderful best friend.”“Pawl has done well meeting lots of people in the shelter, from adults to children. He is patient, takes treats gently, and ignores other dogs that pass by. I was lucky enough to take him for a walk the other day- he was waiting so patiently in his kennel. Leashing him up was easy and he wanted to get out as quickly as possible. After going potty it was a good, easy walk. He seemed to love all the sniffs the park had to offer but was easily redirected to begin walking again. When we took a break from walking, he was showered with treats for sitting so nicely and demonstrating his cute paw for me. He also loved to have his soft coat scratched and get all the love he could. Pawl is a handsome, good boy that you really need to meet!”While Pawl seems to love all people, he can be choosy with his doggy friends, so he does need to meet any potential furry roommates before heading to his furever home. If PACC’s very good boy ambassador sounds like a good fit for your home, come meet Pawl today!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt PAWL*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
