My story

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Sayo💗 💙 Update Account: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Status • Neutered: Yes • Others: Microchipped, heartworm positive 2⃣ Rescue Story Sayo spent quite a long time at the Gimje City Shelter. As new dogs arrived daily and space grew scarce, some long-term residents faced euthanasia. ADogs stepped in to urgently rescue Sayo before he was at risk. 3⃣ Personality & Behavior • With People: Sayo is a bit shy. He may initially retreat from unfamiliar people, but once he’s comfortable, he’ll come over, lick you, and ask for pets—he’s a sweet and affectionate boy! He just needs time to warm up. • With Dogs: He gets along well with other shelter dogs. Even when other, more sensitive dogs snap at him, he calmly walks away without reacting. He’s especially close to his best friend #ADogsTayo and finds comfort in being with him. • Separation Anxiety: If he hears or sees people nearby but can’t reach them, he tends to cry. He will need training in a home environment to build confidence and independence. • Potty Training: Currently only uses outdoor potty, as he lives in a shelter setting. • Walks: He’s a little hesitant when walking alone but enjoys walks when accompanied by his best dog friend. He doesn’t pull on the leash but may stop or resist a bit at times. 4⃣ Special Notes • He loves treats, which makes it easier to build trust with new people. • He may cry when he sees people nearby or wants a door opened—this is something that can be improved with training.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sayo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
