My story

🐾 Meet Scarlet! 🐾This 5-year-old, 5-lb chi mix has been through a lot—but she’s still got love to give and sass to spare! Scarlet came into Texas A&M Small Animal Hospital in active labor under the Good Samaritan Program. Thanks to their care, she safely delivered 5 tiny babies! With the help of Bryan Animal Center and Long Way Home Adoptables, she was placed in emergency foster care instead of the shelter. Now that her pups are weaned, Miss Scarlet is ready for her forever home! In her foster home, Scarlet seems to be potty trained. She also shows signs of having once been part of a family, before sadly being dumped just prior to giving birth. She’s a confident little character: part snuggler, part independent queen, and full-time show-stealer..
