My story

Hello! I’m Bennett, a gentle soul with a heart full of love who's looking for his furever home! I may be an older guy, but I’ve got plenty of love to give and a lot of joy left to share. My past wasn’t easy, as I spent the early part of my life in a laboratory being tested on. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs like me? Now that I’m free, I’m learning how wonderful life can be. I may be a little shy at first, but once I know I can trust you, I’m all about cuddles and affection! I love every kind person that I meet and I do well with other dogs, too! I know that lots of adopters prefer younger dogs, but I promise I'll be the best and most loyal companion ever for the person who chooses to spend my golden years with me!
