APOLLO

My story

Apollo is the best dopey, lover-boy who’s looking for the right person/people!  He’s the sweetest boy who prefers to be next to his person at all times, whether it’s on the couch or trail running in the mountains. He’s a pretty big guy at 80lbs, but he’s an easy dog overall with a low-moderate energy level; he doesn’t get into things around the house, and he’s eager to please!  Crate trained Leash trained Loves people Knows sit, down, wait Working on place, heel He is a 6/10 with other dogs. He’s great with most brief interactions, but he doesn’t like dogs to linger in his face. He has some anxiety and is working on his confidence. I do believe he could live with another dog with a calm demeanor and slow, supervised introductions.  He has been living well with a cat at my apartment.  Apollo is finding his footing after leaving an overcrowded NM shelter. So far, he is very people-centered and loves his people hard. He is not a dog park or daycare dog. He does well in his crate, eats politely, and walks gently on his leash. His forever home should have a 6-foot fence. Apollo is such a great guy and ready for his forever home! Come meet him!      ##2335766##
