My story

Hello everyone! We would like to introduce a beautiful young lady named Callie. Callie came to the shelter with ID on 3/8 after becoming lost on an adventure to either get back to her home or just wanted to see the world. Unfortunately, her pet parents hasn't come to reclaim her. So Callie is now on a quick search for a loving home who will provide a wonderful life so she doesn't return to a shelter ever again. The volunteers describe her as sweet, quiet in her run, and playful. She is a smart cookie as she knows sit when asked and lay down. She may know more and what she doesn't she is hoping her new family will take the time and patience to teach her all the good things she doesn't know. She has a lot of gas left in her tank and she wants a second chance to a forever home. Callie is 6 years old and 1 week old and weighs 48lbs. She is more than ready for a family. Please come meet her as she will be patiently waiting for you in Run 808 and ask for ID#8588. Callie is current on vaccines, will be spayed and tested negative for heartworms. Which is a blessing for our Callie! She is already microchipped. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Callie is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
