My story

Lucie is an adorable 5 year old beagle looking for her forever home! She has a sweet, friendly personality and loves to snuggle. She gets along well with the 2 beagles in her foster home and she’s very affectionate. She’s shown no signs of resource guarding or destructive behaviors. It took Lucie a few days to get used to her foster parents schedule and has had no accidents in the house since. Lucie came in with a possible injury to her left knee that caused her to walk a little funny. Nothing came up on X-rays at the vet and she’s done well on a daily joint supplement. Despite some occasional stiffness, her knee doesn’t seem to bother her anymore. Otherwise, she is heartworm negative and healthy. Lucie would do well as an only dog or with other dogs in the home. She’s food motivated like most beagles, but she doesn’t beg during meal times. She typically only barks to remind her foster parents that it’s time to eat. She’s playful but not overly so and spends most of her days relaxing on the couch. This sweet girl would be a good fit for any experienced owner looking for a loving, affectionate companion
