Frannie

My story

Frannie came to us earlier this year after she was brought to the shelter as a stray and then gave birth within hours of arriving. We had received an email about a sweet mamma dog just couldn’t say no. Frannie initially very protective of her babies, but learned to trust certain people. Now that her babies are all grown up and found families of their own she is ready to find her home too. Frannie has really shown us her true personality over the last month or so. She is sweet, loving, playful, and energetic. She is also a toy hoarder! She loves to take all the toys to “her” spot and then lay with them. However she will share with the other dogs and even let them take a toy from her pile. Frannie will truly keep you laughing all the time. She is a 2 1/2 year old pug mix who would do best in a home where she will get plenty of time to run and play or walked daily. She is almost fully potty trained, good with other dogs, and older children. The fast pass of younger children can sometimes be a little scary for Frannie. She is also slower to warm up to men but doesn’t show any signs of aggression towards them. Frannie should either be in a home with a woman or both men and women as she would not be comfortable with a man alone. Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation.
