Meet Lily — she’s got the soft, squishy head of a Squishmallow, but the heart of a true companion. This sweet bulldog is ready to bloom and find her forever home.Lily is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and loved. Her perfect setup includes a soft bed, an owner who’s home with her, and the kind of companionship that keeps her feeling secure. Lily can get scared sometimes, and when left alone for too long (like overnight), she may have an accident in her crate. She’d much prefer to sleep either in the same room or snuggled up in bed with her new family. She’s working hard on her potty training and has been making great progress! Lily is very subtle with her cues, so if you’re paying close attention, you’ll see when she needs to go outside. If you ask her, she’ll let you know she’s ready to potty. She’s also showing off some FOMO with her talk button, though her favorite by far is the “cookie” button.Lily is a breeze on a leash — no pulling here! Occasionally, she’ll freeze in fear and need a moment to regroup, but with patience and reassurance, she’s good to go. A Few Important Notes from Lily’s Fomom:Lily is incredibly sweet but can be a little wary of new things in her environment. For example, things like a kid’s backpack suddenly dropped near her bed or a helmet unexpectedly hanging nearby can make her nervous. She’s also still getting used to umbrellas, but don’t worry, she’s learning to trust them when they shield her from the rain during walks.Lily needs to be an only dog in the household. She’s terrified of other dogs and will become stressed, growling and trying to escape when she sees them. While she’s never tried to attack another dog it’s important to keep her in a dog-free environment. She can be a bit grumpy and defensive at times, especially when she feels stressed by a situation — like being too close to another dog, seeing her own reflection, or even a picture of a dog. At night, she’s a bit grumpy when it’s time to move from her comfy bed to her crate. Leashing her to guide her helps, and she cooperates much better with less growling. If you have experience with dogs who have had a rough past but just want to be the best, most loved companion ever, then Lily is the girl for you!
