Special Skill: Full-time  Chatter-box. (he always has something to say) About Me:  Batman may not wear a cape, but he’s every bit the hero of our hearts. This handsome, resilient boy has been with us for a while now, and in that time, he’s proven to be one of the sweetest, most lovable cats we’ve ever had the joy of fostering. Batman didn’t have an easy start to life. He’s a true survivor, having fought hard to make it through some very tough circumstances. He carries the physical scars of his past, but they only add to his character — a quiet testament to everything he’s overcome. Despite it all, he’s chosen love and trust, and he gives both so freely. He’s a loyal little shadow, following us from room to room just to be near his people. One of his favorite places is our three-season porch, where he can bird-watch for hours, content and curious. And when it’s time to wind down, he loves to sleep at the foot of our bed, keeping quiet watch over the night. Batman also makes the best biscuits — seriously, he’s a pro kneader. It’s one of the many small ways he shows just how affectionate and grateful he is. He gets along beautifully with our female cats and has no problem coexisting peacefully with our big dogs. He brings calm, warmth, and a quiet kind of joy to our home. While it breaks our hearts to say goodbye, we know Batman is ready to find his forever family — one who will see the beauty in his scars and love him for the sweet, strong soul he is.
