Meet Royalty, a sweet 1 year old spayed female kelpie/terrier mix! She's a great size at about 26 lbs. Royalty is a shy girl at first, who takes some time to warm up to new people (especially men). However, she comes around with a little love and patience! Due to her shyness, we recommend a home with no kids. Royalty LOVES other dogs and would do best in a home with a doggo sibling(s) to play with, keep her company, and remind her to come out of her shell! She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats. From Royalty's current foster: "Royalty says "Hello!" She feels very comfortable in her foster home and is snuggling on my lap as I write this. The large collagen bones are her favorite and a friendly tug of war can be fun! Royalty has been working on commands and is very food motivated. She is now house trained. She can be distracted on our walks by the birds, rabbits, cats and deer but is doing better with this. Royalty still displays some fear with new people in our home and on our walks but again this is improving. Royalty loves playing in the brook, walking on peaceful trails, and playing with her canine buddy!" She is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special girl today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2338111##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Royalty, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
