My story

This is what foster dad said about Zena so suprised this beauty has not been adopted- "Why doesnt anyone want this dog? There is nothing wrong with her." "She would be a great starter dog for someone. She is easy and I think lots of poeple would want a lab mix who's so friendly." "Did you tell them she is crate trained? All night?" Zena is 6 months old and has been waiting her whole life for a family, but we dont see the problem! She's on the small side at 30 lbs, loves kids, dogs and everyone else. She's both playful and snuggly, house/crate trained, and would make a great addition to lots of families! She loves to run and play outside, especially when she gets the chance to show off her zoomies! Zena is great with other dogs and enjoys playing with children. She’s doing wonderfully on a leash and is already learning the ropes of being a well-mannered companion. Zena thrives in an active home where she can continue to explore, learn, and grow with a family that’s ready to guide her through life. She’s smart, curious, and always ready for her next adventure—or a cozy cuddle session. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
