My story

Meet the fun and fearless CARL, a short-haired brown tabby teenager.  He is the most sociable and friendly cat, with a fun and playful side.  He loves swatting and jumping for cat toys with feathers or bells on the end of the stick.  Sometimes he looks like he could be of an acrobatic cat group, with how much jumping, flipping, and rolling he does.  He does not take any time to warm up, and doesn’t mind new people.  He is a snuggler as well, and loves purring in a good lap.  Carl would be a fantastic addition to a fun loving home, ready to provide endless laughs! He came to the rescue with his sister GRAHAM, and he would enjoy being adopted with her.  Carl needs to be in a home with another playful young cat or kitten to buddy up with. Carl has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet CARL in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet.  The $155 (280 for a pair of teenagers) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
