My story

Don’t let his small size fool you — Darcy has the heart of a much bigger dog! This little guy is full of personality, but he’s also working on building his confidence. New people can be pretty scary for Darcy, so he’s looking for someone who will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. Once he trusts you, Darcy’s sweet side starts to shine. He does wonderfully with other dogs and might even do best in a home with a calm canine friend to help show him the ropes. What Darcy needs most is a patient, understanding person who will respect his boundaries and let him come out of his shell at his own pace. With kindness and consistency, Darcy has the potential to blossom into a loving, loyal companion.
