Caramel is being raised in his foster home with his siblings, mama, and other dogs. Caramel loves to play hard-to-get but is a big love-bug who enjoys being cuddled and loved on. He equally loves running in the big yard with his siblings and following his mama around. Caramel is a true gentleman and will sit back and patiently wait on treats and pets. He loves to lick cream cheese off his foster mom’s fingers! These babies are so smart and learning fun things like following their mama, pulling her tail, and playing with all the toys, and then piling on top of one another for naps! They have even learned to use the doggy door to go out for potties. Carmel would do great in a home with a confident canine sister and parents who are ready help him learn, take him for walks and play with him. He can be placed with kids and cats and will require a secure 5-foot fenced yard. Check out the end of their video to see full DNA results! This delectable boy, and his siblings will be ready to join their new families soon, so apply today! NGPR Pooch Profile Name: Caramel in OH Age: 13 wks old as of beg. National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. April 5, 2025, 2:35 pm
