Molly- Adopted TA

My story

When Molly first came to us, we discovered that she had a small pelvic fracture, so she lived in our clinic while she was starting to heal. Despite being initially scared and in pain, she was always sweet, affectionate, and gentle. Eventually she was lucky enough to get to go to a foster home to finish her healing. Now she has healed and gotten spayed and is ready to find her permanent family! Thanks to her foster, we were able to get a lot of great information about her. Her foster reported that she is 90% potty trained, knows “sit”, “stay”, “no”, and her name, and rides perfectly in the car. Molly became the star of the neighborhood, loving every human she met, including kids as young as 4. She also proved to be a master snuggler and velcro dog who will follow you in the bathroom if you let her. She has the softest fur and you will love cuddling with her! Not only does she love people, but she also loves other dogs and takes cues from them well. The foster family’s “grumpy old beagle” even tolerated her presence, which he has never done with any other foster dog! She also didn’t show any resource guarding of food or toys. She would love to go to a home where there is another dog who can keep her company and maybe play with her. She doesn’t love the crate, but wasn’t destructive when left alone (although she didn’t like to be left alone for long periods). At only 32 pounds, Molly is a great size, and you won’t have to worry about any breed restrictions. Molly is back at the shelter now and ready to meet you today!
