My story

Hi, I’m Peach—and I just got back from the best slumber party adventure ever! I had an amazing time hanging out at home, walking in the park, playing with toys, and even sipping on a fancy little puppachino (yes, I’m that kind of girl!). I`m all about a good mix of chill time and playtime—I’ve got that medium energy vibe. I’m happy to go for walks, play some fetch, or just snuggle up for a cozy nap.I’ll be honest—at the shelter, I can come off a little barky. There’s just so much going on and it gets overwhelming. But on my little getaway? I was way more relaxed. I saw dogs on leash and just calmly kept moving. No barking, just observing. Trucks are still kind of scary, though—I’ll definitely let you know if one goes by too close! When I meet new people, I can be shy. I might bark, pull back, or get a little squirmy at first, but give me a gentle introduction and some space to warm up, and I’ll be your loyal little shadow in no time. I love being close to my people—snuggling is kind of my specialty once I trust you.I’m still working on my potty habits, but I’m doing really well! I mostly go outside and can hold it for a few hours. I had a tiny accident once when I got too excited that my foster came home, but we figured out a routine that works. (Pro tip: just let me outside right when you come home and pretend I`m not even there. I promise I’ll do my business and settle in.)I sleep quietly in my crate all night, and I’m not destructive in the house. I’m also working hard on my leash manners—they’re getting better every day! Just a heads-up, though: squirrels? Yeah, I can’t help myself. I will pull.Toys? Love them. I’ll chase a ball with joy and I’m learning how to “drop it.” I’ve got loads of personality and potential, and I know with the right home, I’ll keep growing into an even more confident, happy pup.One important thing to know: I’d prefer a home without cats or other dogs. Nothing personal—I just don’t really understand them, and I’d rather not share my space. A fenced yard would be amazing, too, so I can play and explore safely. If you`re patient, gentle, and looking for a sweet, silly sidekick who will love you with her whole heart, I just might be your girl. Let’s meet soon—I’ve got a lot of love (and probably a toy or two) to share!Love,Peach
