My story

Sweet Corky was recently kid-tested and earned high praise. He continues to improve daily and would thrive with a patient, loving person dedicated to helping him learn and grow. When Corky arrived at Paws Humane, he was fearful and reluctant to be touched. Though he still experiences occasional moments of doubt, a slow and gentle approach helps him feel safe. He is learning to accept love and attention, now walks well on a leash, and is becoming comfortable with the world around him. Corky also ignores other dogs during walks, showing progress in his socialization. If you have the patience and compassion to support a dog who needs extra time to reach his potential, please consider meeting Corky. He is a long-term resident who deserves a permanent, caring home.
