My story

Jasmine was left by her owner with someone to watch her while they went away, but then they never returned. After waiting for almost a year, they were no longer able to keep her and brought her to the shelter. Jasmine is known as one of our very good natured pups, great at greeting other dogs and she loves a nice long walk. Videos of Jasmine in playgroup at the shelter: Lucky, Jasmine, and Alonah drop leash: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8ivMryy4Zg Lucky, Jasmine, Alonah, and Mocha drop leash: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKmejt5P7W0 Lucky, Jasmine, Mocha, and Man Man drop leash: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsGJ4gjEi-k Jasmine, Mocha, and Man Man drop leash: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofL9670jIzU Lucky, Jasmine, Man Man, and Blake drop leash: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NOaP3Bboqw Lucky, Jasmine, Man Man, and Blake drop leash 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0N03nTJtZY Lucky, Jasmine, Blake, Chickie, and Doc drop leash: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83J7jDl4OfI Per volunteer 5/8: She is a happy and playful girl that loves everyone that she meets. She’s strong and does pull a bit while on a walk. After some time she settles in and matches my pace. I’ve been present for two meets and she did extremely well. She seems eager to play with other dogs and takes correction. She knows sit, is working on giving her paw and loves fetch. All around great dog. 4/24 Per volunteer- I had the pleasure of taking this gorgeous girl out for a walk on this gorgeous day! Jasmine is such a beautiful young pup. She knows sit and seems potty trained! She does pull moderately on the leash but once she got some energy out, she didn't pull as much. She seems to love exploring. She would be the perfect companion for someone who is active and looking for an adventure buddy! She took treats gently and I gave her a special bone after our walk. Playgroup 3/15: Steerable at gate. Greeted dogs appropriately. Gentle and dainty. Offers appropriate corrections when dogs encroach upon her space. Good greeter dog. 3/15 per volunteer- I took Jasmine out yesterday she was at the back of her kennel when i walked up. I called her over she barked once but then came over she didnt take any treats i asked her if she wanted to go for a walk and showed her the leash she was excited loose body. I open the kennel let her smell the leash and she allowed me to leash her up and exit with out issues. Outside she smelled the ground pulls alot on the leash. Walked her up Huntington park ave some walked back went in the yard she was loose and smelling around allowed being pet all over. Found a ball for her, because she was very interested in the squeaking noise threw the ball she was sooo excited fetched it and brought it back and dropped it allowing me to pick up and throw again shes drop it when you day drop. She trades as well. Meet a puppy and did good play bowed once then was fine walking with him. No issues returning back to kennel. Took her out again this am for a potty break. She was so excited to get out again. Didnt go to the bathroom. She remembered me and looked for balls again we were in the smaller yard this time no balls around she chase a squeak toy but didnt pick it up going back threw kennels fine was hesitant going back in this am, i stepped in she didnt wanna i walked away and tired again and she went in.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jasmine, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
