To learn more about Pip, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Meet Pip, a sweet and loving 5-year-old terrier mix with a soft brown coat and a red tint that gives her an adorable, unique look. She has charming white "socks" on her front legs that make her even more endearing. This lovely girl was rescued from a rural Virginia shelter and is now microchipped and ready for her forever home! Pip is a very sweet and affectionate pup who loves attention. While she can get a little overstimulated in new or busy environments—excitedly jumping and barking—she calms down quickly with some gentle pets and attention. Once she settles, she is easy to harness and ready for her next adventure! On walks, Pip has a relaxed yet curious demeanor. She enjoys exploring at her own pace, with a few excited hops and a mild pull now and then. She has been good with other dogs, showing friendly interest during walks. Pip is more than happy to lounge on the couch or dog beds, soaking up all the pets and tummy rubs you can give her. She's not much for treats, and she doesn’t always respond to cues, but she’s attentive and loves being around people. Pip may not be a high-energy dog, but she has plenty of love to give. She'd thrive in many environments, especially with a family that can provide her with plenty of affection and patience as she settles in.
