Meet Toby – The Ultimate Snuggle Pro Making a Comeback! 🐶💖 At 4 years old and 22 pounds, Toby is a Chihuahua mix with a little extra "fluff" from living that indoor-only lifestyle. For nearly a year, he never left his elderly owner’s apartment—so now, he’s on a mission to rediscover the great outdoors (one cautious step at a time). 🐾 Dog-Friendly & Crate-Trained! He gets along well with other pups and doesn’t mind hanging out in his crate. 🚶‍♂️ New to This Whole "Exercise" Thing. After a year of living the VIP couch life, Toby is learning that walks are actually a thing—and he's up for the challenge (as long as there are snack breaks). 😬 A Little Anxious, Always Gentle. He’s still figuring out new situations, but even at the vet (with needles involved!), he kept his cool like a true gentleman. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
