Meet Harriet! Harriet came to San Bernardino City Animal Control as a stray, and it's sad to think about this blind, gentle girl alone and fending for herself. When Harriet wasn't claimed, we welcomed her to the Frosted Faces family. She is estimated to be 15 years old and weighs 18. She may be blind, but don’t let that fool you—this smart cookie gets around well and quickly maps out new places. Harriet sees the world through love, trust, and that incredible sixth sense only dogs seem to have. Harriet is very sweet and loving. Whether she’s resting her head in your lap or leaning in for extra snuggles, Harriet’s is a total love bug! Harriet went on a 3-week Frosted Fling to enjoy love and attention in the comfort of a home while she waits for her forever family. Might that be you? Here is an update from Harriet's Fling Mom: "We have fostered/adopted 17 dogs, and Harriet is by far one of the easiest. If we weren’t moving, she’d stay with us until she was adopted! Harriet is perfect around cats and other dogs. She is completely non-reactive, even when our sassy younger chi would bark at her or dogs outside. Harriet loves everyone and will come tell you she wants pets by nudging you with her paw (so cute!) And at around 18 lbs., Harriet is the perfect size to scoop up. Here are more insights into this sweet girl: 🐾 Potty-trained, and let us know when she had to to go out by heading toward the back door 🐾 Sleeps through the night 🐾 Angel in the bath and car 🐾 Enjoys leisurely walks but doesn’t need them 🐾 Not a picky eater 🐾 Finds food dishes and dog beds with no problems. 🐾 Doesn't make a peep - so quiet If you’re looking for a mellow, loving companion who will warm your heart (and your couch), Harriet is ready to fill your home with unconditional love." Harriet currently lives in a foster home. To schedule a time to meet this beautiful soul, please email placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Harriet, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
