My story

A volunteer writes:A nice and pretty lady, Colleen is a classy little number. Initially a bit hesitant and shy, you'll have to wine her and dine her first. After many minutes of soft talk and numerous treats (both at the same time) she leaned into my hand for those famous chin & cheek rubs and a good petting down. The key is "slow and easy". She had to familiarize herself with me first, as many kitties must in a shelter environment. For those of you with other cats, Colleen previously lived with a few cats(13 more exactly), and I'm told, even groomed some of them. Her former owner said she was friendly, playful and affectionate with everyone. If you'd like to enjoy an evening of quiet conversation and tasty treats with this nice, sweet girl, she's right here at the Manhattan ACC. I'm sure once you get to know each other a bit, Colleen would be delighted to come home with you for some late night catnip.
