This most handsome Shepherd mix fellow is called Friar Tuck and he is a serious boy that was born mistakenly in a litter of 9 and kept outside the first 3 months of his life until March 3rd. We call his litter the Royal Puppies who have risen from the ashes of poverty to now the pampered care of a foster mom and dad’s in their wonderful home with royal treatment. This Shepherd boy is a fuzzy, playful, stout pup, that is 20 pounds at 14 weeks and getting more and more confident every day and becoming such a smart temperament. The foster parents are guiding 3 siblings in the litter of 6 that Critter Cavalry Rescue took in. Friar Tuck is the one who wants to be “up close and personal” all the time. He is tender-hearted and sweet with lots of sensitivity. He is still figuring out the difference between “snuggles” and “wiggles”. It’s only been since March 3rd that he moved from being in a pen outdoors 24/7 and so crate training is new and an adjustment he is handling well and never has an accident overnight. He never had a large fenced yard for play and is learning what house manners is all about and living with adults. To be honest this boy is our CHILL BILL puppy that is very laid back and learning these new life skills as a house dog like a champ. He is does his business outside first thing in the morning and he sleeps through the night. Although he is 20 pounds, he is still an emotional baby. It will take patient training and habit-forming in your household before he is totally accident-free. The crate is Tucker’s comfort zone, his safe boundaries and so he does not panic when told it’s crate time. It is not a punishment and so we insist he continue in this training and use for him. Friar Tuck would be fine as an only dog or living with others. He is a precious fuzzy fur baby of unknown heritage ready to join your family. This boy will be a 60 pound adult boy that will turn heads with his handsome good looks. If you’re looking for a puppy to save and love, then this is your boy!
