My story

How this pet arrived: Mickey was transferred in from Pasadena Humane as part of the wildfire relief efforts. Why Mickey might be one for you: Mickey has literally been through the fires. He is now safe with us and is more than ready to settle down in a quiet new home. He says that he has had enough drama and is seeking a quiet home with loving folks. Mickey is house trained and already knows some great commands like "sit," "paw," and "down," showing off his intelligence and eagerness to learn. He's treat motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience! Mickey is now in a foster home where his fosters are working on his leash manners. He has gotten so much better walking on a leash that his foster has been taking him on short hikes which he enjoys very much. He will do best with a family who can take things slow and give him the time he needs to adjust at his own pace. With patience and care, Mickey is sure to become a loving and loyal companion. If you're ready to add smart Mickey to your family, grab a leash and collar and come to meet the Mickey. At SDHS:Mickey has been vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 64.5 Age: 2yrs 4mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mickey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
