Rufus

My story

Hi! I'm Rufus. I’m 3 years old and I love to play and learn. I originally came to the humane society with a severe skin condition. But I’m all better now. I have a small ring around my neck that may never grow all its hair back, because my old collar was too tight. But it doesn’t bother me and I’m still soft and fluffy for snuggles. I have a lot of energy and I’m really smart. I love playing with other dogs. I get really excited and “talk a lot” when I meet new people and dogs. Unfortunately, it’s hard to get enough one-on-one play time here. So, the staff has started doing a little nose work with me, to redirect my energy. I love it and would enjoy any kind of work or games I could play with my own human. I’m very eager to please and highly food motivated. If you are looking for a best friend who will always be by your side and do their best to make you proud, please consider coming to meet me.
