Star

My story

Star is a two-year-old female American Staffordshire Terrier mix and absolutely gorgeous. She may have had a rough start to her life, but she isn’t looking back! Star is a smart and playful girl who loves other dogs, playing, snuggling, and even sharing her toys with the ones in her run. She loves people, but you can always tell when her favorites approach because she has a sweet little fancy paw dance and even sometimes a small “awoo.” She is starting to really share her silly personality at the shelter and she would love a family that would help her continue to grow. She’s smart and loves treats, and those two things are a match made in heaven especially when you try to teach her new commands and tricks. Star does have heartworms, but please don’t let that scare you off from adopting, we can arrange treatment right here at the shelter as soon as she is adopted. Star will need a moderately active home because she does love to play, go for walks, and even a gentle hike. Make Star your girl and you will be repaid with love, loyalty, and your very own gorgeous rockstar!
