My story

Meet Sirius – Your New Adventure Buddy! Sirius is a 4ish-year-old black retriever mix who’s ready to bring some serious joy (and tail wags) to your life! Handsome, goofy, and full of life, Sirius is looking for an active home where he can stretch his legs, chase a ball (he’s this close to mastering the “bring it back” part), and soak up the great outdoors. This guy is no couch potato—he’d much rather be exploring the yard, trotting down a trail, or showing off his excellent leash manners when he’s in his preferred walking gear (he’s got standards, okay?). After a good adventure, he’s happy to kick back with a favorite chew toy or gnaw on a tasty natural chew. Sirius enjoys meeting new people, especially if you let him approach at his own pace—startling him isn’t his thing (honestly, who likes to get startled). He’s generally good with other dogs and would do best with playful, confident companions who won’t be overwhelmed by his enthusiastic hellos and bouncy energy. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who’s always up for some outdoor fun and will reward you with tail wags, goofy grins, and maybe the occasional slobbery tennis ball, Sirius might just be your star. Bonus points if you have a yard, love fetch (even if it’s one-way for now), and don’t mind a little black fur on your hiking gear.
