Meet Penelope – A Loyal Beauty with a Gentle Soul Penelope is a stunning 2-year-old small shepherd mix with a face as beautiful as her heart. Though she may be wary of new people, once she knows and trusts you, she becomes a loving, loyal companion who will shower you with affection. True to her shepherd roots, Penelope is protective of her space and may bark to alert you of activity near the yard. She walks nicely on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, and takes treats with the gentlest touch. Because of her sensitive nature, we recommend Penelope for a calm home with no children or older, respectful kids who can give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who blossoms with patience and love, Penelope might just be your perfect match.
