My story

Notes from Cujo's foster: "Cujo has been a fabulous dog, very cuddly, is attached at the hip, and will tend to be sitting or laying next to you any room you are in. He is an amazing cuddler and loves to play too. I believe he will be a great dog for a family or even anyone in an apartment like I am in! He has his traits such as chewing on things he shouldn't, very scared of thunderstorms, and only eats half of the time. Leash training isn't bad but when he needs to go, he pulls hard but otherwise he walks with slack on the leash and checks to make sure you're there still. In the crate, he does well and usually just sleeps when I'm not home and never had any accidents in the crate or out. He whined the first couple of days but that was it, he would stop after 5 minutes or so. He understands the words: sit, down, no, out , and of course his name. He is very desensitized to other people, dogs, sounds, and touch. I was able to grab him his paws, ears, legs etc. without him pulling back, he honestly enjoys any physical attention! I took him out in public once or twice and he was very unbothered by everyone and everything."

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cujo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
