My story

A volunteer writes:There are cats who do not need introduction to fall in love with them. It is love at first sight! Sophia is one of these cats...Sophia is such a pretty feline, lighting up her kennel with her bright orange coat and luminous green eyes. Open her den and she comes right away for a meet and greet, purring loudly and headhunting vigorously my hand. She does not mind me fitting a bow around her neck and taking countless pictures of her feline beauty. Sophia is such a good girl! Sophia was surrendered to us as her elderly owner was taken into care. We do not know much about her  but we can only imagine that she was a great pet and friend. Sophia is quite on the thin side and ravenous for food, two signs pointing to hyperthyroidism, a frequent condition found in senior cats and easily treated. Sophia is taking her medication very well and we are hoping for her to feel better soon. Now, what lovely Sophia needs is a home sweet home and a new owner to love!
