My story

Meet Alfie — a gentle soul with a second chance to love.   We found this sweet boy late one night when he was just a kitten, living in a dangerous situation where he wouldn’t have survived much longer. He was understandably fearful at first, but we could see it in his eyes — beneath the fear was a gentle, loving spirit waiting to be nurtured. And we were right. Alfie blossomed into a playful, affectionate, cuddly young cat. He eventually found a forever home with another one of our rescues, Justin — his “brother from another mother” — and for over four years, we believed they were living their happily-ever-after. But recently, we got a call from Animal Control: the boys were being surrendered. We rushed to pick them up and learned that a major life change had left their owner unable to care for them any longer. When we arrived, they were scared, confused, and far too thin. But it didn’t take long for their sweet, loving personalities to resurface. Alfie and Justin are now safe, slowly regaining their confidence, and back to seeking out cuddles and companionship. We're getting reacquainted with these two incredible boys — but we’re hoping you will be the one to give them the forever home they truly deserve, where love and security will never be in short supply again.May 9, 2025, 6:02 am
