A volunteer writes:Sally is a little tiger girl, really tiny at six pounds. She came to us with friends Bubbles, Lucky as well as many kittens. They were part of a house full of cats. Sally sits now all by herself in a kennel and it might feel weird and quite lonely to her. Sally has the cutest triangular girly face, always focused on her visitors. What could they want from her? I never saw her hissing or swatting. She lays in the farthest corner of her balcony, compact, like singled out from the rest of the world, sometimes signaling, as she leans against my hand, that she trusts me. At other times, she backs off even more...Sally is shy and lost but eating well, keeping a clean house and using her litter box. Nothing much is known about Sally or her twenty+housemates but we are hoping that a safe, welcoming. loving and understanding new home will have her slowly bloom into a happy forever best friend. Sweet Sally is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center.Sally is a very sweet and slightly shy cat who was inside the den appearing a little bit tense. Her tail was curled around her. Her body was slightly tense, but she enjoyed petting leaning in gently for cheap rubs. She allowed petting all over and turned around a couple of times, but remained inside the den and could not be coaxed out. She may need some time to warm up to her new home.Sally interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. Primary Color: Tabby Weight: 6 Age: 5yrs 0mths 1wks
