My story

Pickletini is a sweet, one-year-old with beautiful tabby markings mixed in with her white coat, which is seriously soft. Shy at first, once Pickle or Tini, for short, gets acclimated, you will have a biscuit maker extraordinaire at your service. She is particularly keen on making biscuits on her human’s chest – a great massage! Pickletini is an independent gal who is also a classic, doing what cats do best: watch the world from a window ledge, snuggle with her human(s), have fun playing with her wand toy, take naps, and chow down at mealtime. She’s easygoing, sweet company. She prefers to be your one and only feline friend and don’t be surprised if she hides under the bed when company comes. Like many cats, she likes her person/people and is shy when you have a dinner party – though not shy enough to miss a meal, regardless of who is visiting. Pickle was rescued from a backyard in Brooklyn where kind neighbors had been feeding her. At the time, they also noticed some issues with her skin, so once we got her inside, we got her checked out. She has since been fully vetted – spayed, vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, microchipped, and she is negative for FeLV and FIV – and at the vet’s recommendation we have her on a limited-ingredient diet to see if her skin issues are due to a food allergy, which is pretty common in cats. She’s doing great now and her skin is much better, so we are thrilled that she is ready for her forever home. If you are looking for feline company that’s easy-going, independent, classic, cuddly, and super soft, Pickletini would be a great fit for you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pickletini, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
