My story

Meet Leo! This 6.5-month-old Cattle Dog mix weighs about 40 pounds and is full of personality, intelligence, and energy. Leo was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas and is now thriving in foster care. He already knows basic commands like “sit” and “shake,” is crate trained, walks well on a harness, and loves toys, playing in the water, and fetch, which he impressively taught himself. He’s very dog friendly and enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes. Leo is about 75 percent potty trained and sleeps through the night in his crate. He can be a little timid in new situations but is building confidence with each experience. Due to his high energy and enthusiasm, Leo would do best in an active home without small children. He is affectionate, smart, and eager to learn, and with continued structure and training, he’ll make an incredible companion. Leo is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is located in North Texas, but transport is available to approved homes out of state. If adopted out of state, transport and health certificate costs are added to the adoption fee. To apply to adopt Leo, please visit: hannahssouthernpaws.org/adoption-application Leo is ready to bring joy, love, and adventure to his forever home. ##2333755##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Leo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
