AKIO

My story

Akio and Katsu are a couple of very charming old men! Easy going, loving, with a particular love of walks, cuddles and munching on sliced apples! These fine Schnauzer fellows belonged to a retired firefighter who passed away, he loved his dogs dearly, and his friends reached out and asked for our help, so, here they are. These gentlemen are loving and easy keepers, so deserving to have a comfy home for their remaining years. They are a bonded pair though have shown some independence in their foster home, each finding their favorite spots around the house. They're house trained, not destructive and are calm when left home alone. They'll happily share their food bowl and toys, and get along great with their foster canine sibling! Akio is a bit more aloof, he spends most of his time exploring the backyard or finding a quiet spot to rest. He does enjoy people and affection but doesn't seem to seek it out as Katsu does.
