Whether he's out exploring or lounging by your side, he's just happy to be with his people.He's a pro at snuggling, loves giving kisses, and did well meeting both small kids (ages 5 and 7) and a friendly off-leash dog at the beach. What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!I am excitable and energetic! I will need positive outlets for my energy!I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: We took Sandalwood out today on a #BoroughBreak and had such a great day even despite the cold!! Sandalwood is not only absolutely adorable and unique looking with his two different colored eyes but, we frequently got stopped by people telling us how handsome he is. Because the temperature was 30 degrees, we tried to do both indoor and outdoor activities with Sandalwood so we got to see how he behaved in different environments. When we first met Sandalwood he warmly greeted us with kisses and a friendly jump to let us know he was excited! He loves treats which only took us about 30 seconds to figure out. He will eat any kind of treat you give him he isn't picky at all! We gave him a stuffed toy about 10 minutes after meeting him and he kept it in his mouth for the rest of the time. He keeps a loose, wiggly body while walking on the sidewalk even through crowds all while keeping his stuffy toy in his mouth! We went to a cafe for a cookie where he played with his toy while we ate. Then we walked a few miles and headed over to a restaurant where we got lunch! Sandalwood sat by our table with his toy, chugging water and asked for treats a few times. He communicates clearly when he wants his food (or yours)! We ordered him a hamburger, of course and he enthusiastically ate it. When we passed other dogs in the pet store and on sidewalks, he did not pull but just kept walking forward with his toy in his mouth.He is playful and cuddly. He has a soft mouth when he takes treats and has the squishiest little face and ears. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 56 Age: 7yrs 8mths 0wks
