: Funny, Curious, Brave, Affectionate, Playful, Athletic, Gentle, Smart Little Buddy Biscuit Baker, or Little Buddy for short, is the sweetest 8-year-old kitty looking for his forever home! He is a true cuddlebug and loves being near you while you play a game, read a book, or work on the computer. He loves meeting new people and does not hesitate to climb into a warm lap and purr loudly while making biscuits. He is very calm, confident, and laid back - even the vacuum cleaner doesn't bother him! Little Buddy splits his time between leisurely lounging and energetically playing with all types of toys. He is great at entertaining himself by chasing ping pong balls, springs, and batting around toy mice, but he also likes playing with humans with wand toys and strings. Currently his favorite toy is a spinning feather toy that wobbles - he loves it! Other activities he enjoys are eating treats and climbing onto his foster’s chest to purr loudly in her face (which she doesn’t mind!). When left alone, he enjoys sitting in the window and watching the birds and squirrels outside. Little Buddy was originally a community cat at a small residential colony in San Jose. After disappearing for a couple of years, he returned to his caretaker in 2024 in bad shape. Little Buddy became an indoor foster kitty, gained weight, and Peninsula Catworks helped his caretaker get him much needed dental work. He is now happy and content and looking for a forever home! The ideal home is one where Little Buddy can have lots of loving attention, which may look like cuddling on the couch watching a movie, snuggling in bed for naps, or playing with a fun toy. Little Buddy has been around young children and could do well in a home with or without children. * Little Buddy is FIV+, but lived peacefully indoors with an FIV- cat with his original caretaker, and also peacefully coexisted with a FIV- cat in his current foster home. FIV+ kitties can live long normal lives alongside cats without FIV as long as they get along (the virus is transmitted through deep bite wounds), and he is very relaxed around other cats! He will also do just fine as an only cat, since he loves all the attention he can get! The vet has estimated his age to be around 8 years old. He is microchipped, neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, has been treated for fleas and worms, and has had a dental cleaning. He has tested negative for FeLV. He is great with his litter box and really likes using cardboard scratchers!
