Honey

My story

Honey is a domestic shorthair who came into our care as a transfer in along with her single newborn kitten! They were rescued off of the streets so she was very weary of everything at first but has since warmed up and is such a sweetheart! She was a great mama and has since retired from motherhood and is looking for her forever home. Honey is a very sweet girl who LOVES affection and cuddles and will chirp at you for more! Motherhood has made Honey very protective of her loved ones and she has a very hard time trusting other animals so she is reccomended to be an only kitty who can be someone's one and only bestie! Honey is not required to go alone but if she is going home to other kitties or dogs she will need a very slow introduction to whatever resident pet she will be meeting to ensure that they get a chance to adjust to each other confidently. She may take a while to adjust to other pets but as long as she always has a place to resort to and a patient owner, Honey may be able to change seeing other kitties as a threat. She truly is just looking for a loving a patient owner to cuddle with and call her own!
