My story

Hi, I'm Sky. I am a Grey and White Pit Bull about 5 years old. I am a gentle, yet a jovial pup. I was rescued from backyard breeding by my current mom about 3 1/2 years ago. I am caring and affectionate. I am still a little skittish around new people, but I warm up fast. I love to dig and I can be an escape artist if left unattended. I love cuddling and belly rubs. When it comes to children, I do very well and love to cuddle. I am interested in other dogs and I have never had a problem with getting to know other dogs. I am not fond of cats and unfortunately I love to eat squirrels, if given the chance. One of my favorite things to do is taking a car ride. I am calm and enjoy looking out the window. Taking a bath can still be a challenge for me. I don’t mind the soap, but the water seems to scare me. I am crate trained and house trained. I may tinkle if I am excited. Toys are not really my things, but a good game of tug a war I can’t pass up Sky is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
