My story

Lucille is 100% a people person. She is very smart and always wants to always be by her human’s side. Whether watching tv or taking a nap, you will never be alone with Lucille curled up next to you! Always sweet and loyal, Lucille loves endless belly and ear rubs, cuddles and snuggling. She will push her head into your chest and melt against you. Lucille is a very active dog that loves zoomies, playing fetch with tennis balls, and going on walks and car rides. She is your perfect companion for long road trips or exploring the outdoors. She is a wiggle-butt fanatic when excited (especially for treats). Lucille needs plenty of playtime in a fenced-in yard or someone who wants to hike the trails to burn off energy. Because Lucille has such a zest for life, she would do best in a home with older children or adults who can handle her energy levels. But don't let the zoomies fool you- Lucille is also a huge napper! She is terrific with submissive dogs and 100% door-to-door potty trained (she will go to the door to be let out). Lucille's good looks caused us to want to DNA test her to find out what went into those perfect ears. Her Embark DNA results revealed she is 55% Mountain Cur, 23% Australian Shepherd, 12% Golden Retriever and 10% Chow Chow. But whatever she is, she is 100% FUN!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lucille, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
