My story

Meet Astrid! This adorable 10-pound, 4 ½-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix is ready to find her forever home. Astrid is a sweet, easy-going companion who gets along well with dogs of all sizes and would likely do fine with cats, too! She came to us as a stray from a local Bay Area shelter and has been thriving in her foster home. While she may be a little reserved at first, she quickly warms up and loves attention. She enjoys car rides, sunbathing, and rolling around in the grass. Astrid is fully vetted, making great progress with house training, and would love a family that will give her plenty of love and affection. If your application is a good fit, the foster parent will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet or request additional information. If this pup isn’t the perfect match, don’t worry. We’ll provide feedback and suggest alternative matches if possible. Your application remains active for 90 days, so you can still be considered for other dogs in our care. If another pup catches your eye within that period, just email us to have your application applied to a different dog. Our Commitment to Our Dogs Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary care, including: • Spay/Neuter surgery • Microchipping • DHPP vaccination • Flea treatment and deworming • Rabies vaccination • Any additional vet care as needed The adoption fee for this dog is $350, serving as a non-refundable donation to help cover vetting, transport, and care costs.
