My story

Hello! My name is Lucy, and I’m a young tuxedo cat with a gentle spirit and a big heart. I found myself outside the shelter after being abandoned by my previous owner, but with the help of the caring staff and my amazing foster family, I’ve begun to flourish! Though I was initially the shy one—especially compared to my sister, who found her forever home quickly—I’ve thrived in my foster setting. I’ve adapted well to both the people and the other cats here, and I’ve even enjoyed playing with young kids when they come to visit! I like to express myself by meowing to get your attention, and once you start giving me some pets, we’ll be best friends! While I may take a little time to warm up to new faces, I promise that I’ll come to you when I’m ready, and when I do, get ready for some serious love! If you're looking for a sweet companion who may be a tad shy at first but is ready to fill your life with warmth and joy, I could be the perfect match for you. I cannot wait to have a forever family of my own!
