Gracie

My story

Gracie is a spunky 1-year-old female black Labrador retriever mix who was relinquished because she needed a bit more training than what her family could provide. Gracie would benefit from training classes to help with her excitability, jumping, redirection, and her desire to counter surf (she's very curious!). She's a very sweet girl and loves to give "hugs." She previously lived with dogs and cats in the home, but might be a bit much for young children due to her size and boisterousness. Come meet Gracie at CCHS! Gracie is a STAFF FAVORITE PET. Here's what Volunteer Coordinator, Sarah, has to say about her: Gracie is a big, goofy puppy with a heart of gold whose positivity shines as bright as the sun! She can sometimes get a little too excited about toys and treats, but she’s working hard on understanding that good manners help her get the things she wants. She’s smart as a whip and always up for learning new tricks, especially if there’s a tasty treat (or five) involved. Spending time with Gracie never fails to brighten my mood, and I just know her future home will feel brighter and happier with her in it. Come meet Gracie and see for yourself why she’s so loved!
