My story

Looking for the perfect blend of couch potato and cuddle machine? Look no further than Daisy Lynn, a joyful and affectionate girl with a heart as big as her puppy-dog eyes. Daisy thrives on being close to her people. She adores belly rubs and a good butt scratch right by her little tail nub, and she’ll gladly show you her excitement with enthusiastic kisses—sometimes a little too enthusiastic! She gets so wrapped up in her snuggles that she doesn’t always know her own strength, but one yelp from you and she backs off with a sheepish apology. A lover of all things squeaky, Daisy Lynn enjoys her toys... until a massacre occurs and the stuffing flies. After that, she’s so devastated she can’t even look at the remains. She also loves playing with balls—especially hiding them in secret spots like a true goofball. This sweet girl lives for praise (“Who’s a good girl?” is her favorite phrase!) and is always up for a quick game or a long nap. She’s a great mix of playful and chill, content to relax but always ready to jump into action. Foodie alert: Daisy is adventurous with snacks (she even eats celery!) but draws the line at fresh pineapple. Her true loves? Watermelon (juice included), tortilla chips (hold the salsa), and American cheese. Daisy Lynn is crate-free, house-respectful, and good house manners. She’s also a brave little protector who barked up a storm when she found a snake trying to sneak in—don’t worry, it was handled! While she can be a bit choosy with other dogs, she lived peacefully with three canine siblings in her previous home. She’s also spent time with children and is described as happy, affectionate, and a champion snuggler. She hasn’t met cats yet. Daisy knows sit, shake, and down, and she walks well on a leash—though she might pull if something exciting catches her attention. She enjoys car rides, quiet time, and being your loyal shadow. If you`re looking for a dog who`s equal parts silly, sweet, smart, and snuggly, Daisy Lynn is ready to steal your heart (and your spot on the couch). Call Citrus County Animal Services at 352-746-8400 to schedule a meet-and-greet. Daisy Lynn is in a foster home and can’t wait to meet you! ID# 57933020, Age: 5 years, Weight: 69 lbs, Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm tested. Her adoption fee has been paid by a caring citizen through the CCFAP `Sponsor Me Home` program!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy Lynn, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
