Meet Beignet!Here in the 'Bury we like to experience a variety of cultures. So we bring to you this Mardi Gras season our very own 'Bury Beignet!! We don't think she's French-but she is a sweet treat!!Much like our love for doughnuts, you won't be able to resist her once you spend some time with her. She is no square that's for sure. And she's definitely not puffy! However her devotion to you will certainly be deep fried if you just give her some time to open up. Dusted with sweetness, she has a gentle personality but she is overwhelmed here at the HSWC bakery. It's just too fast paced for her, loud and crowded. She likes open spaces. She has southern charm and She can't be rushed. Everything needs to be in her time as any southern belle will tell you. Beignet has a light and fluffy texture I mean personality... and crispy golden brown exterior....I mean fur. 56 pounds of beauty. She likes going out for strolls in the sunshine and relaxes once outside.Here is what she's looking for in her bff:✅A Quiet home. no wild parties. She is not a big fan of screaming insults at the refs either.✅Beignet is warming up with slow intros and people who sit with her and give her TLC-Time to open up on her terms.-Love and length on the leash- Don't crowd in on her.-Consistency. Basic training will help her build confidence.Once she trusts you she will lean in and press herself against you for comfort... That is the best feeling in the world.🐶🐈‍⬛She seems ok with Dogs and cats. ⚠️We are NOT recommending she go to a home with young children. (16+ is recommended)She is getting a pep in her step when she develops a relationship with people who spend time with her. We will keep nibbling away at her fears until we see only a sweet confident independent friend.She may not be in Louisiana but she will certainly be your sweet sugar treat once you set her on your sofa -I mean... dog bed.
